Review: Veet Easy Wax

Well ladies, summer is on the horizon. This calls for two things: The perfect beach body and smooth bronzed Legs.

The wax refill is designed to be used on both legs and arms.In the kit you get; the electrical roll-on, a docking station, plug adapter and cord, the 50ml wax refill and cleaning wipes and strips. It is so ridiculously easy to put everything together! To use this waxing machine, you need to heat it up. The recommended time is 20 minutes however I found myself waiting around 45 as the

roller would not budge. It was warm and the cute pink color made it easy for me to see where I have applied the wax. It's important to apply the wax in the direction of hair growth, so from the knee to the ankle. Keeping the strip parallel to the skin and pulling back rather than up is important too, to avoid unnecessarily damaging the skin. The biggest advantage for me is that it didn't irritate my skin, I suffer dry and sensitive skin and waxing usually makes them quite itchy and can damage the skin so I was really surprised that my legs were silky smooth, there was next to no redness . The only problem with the product is there are not enough strips. Yes, you can repurchase them however there is a lot of wax in here, and 12 strips isn't enough!

The Veet website says that the starter kit comes with "12 reusable and washable fabric strips" except that the instruction leaflet contained within the kit says in capital letters "THIS WAX CANNOT BE RINSED OFF WITH WATER" so, somewhere down the line, something has gotten lost in translation! The Easy Wax retails for £29.99, but is almost always on offer at half price, and using the code EASYWAX4 on Amazon gives a 50% discount. So ladies, what do you think? Did you get the Easy Wax to work for you? Are you a rip the hairs out or shave them off kind of girl?
