Final Year - Nursing Student

Hello my lovelies! I have been really lazy with my blogging recently and I apologize. I've just started my final year in university. It has finally arrived. How did that happen? I remember being a first year student and panacking about what pens and books I should take for my first day, whether I would ever understand any of the anatomy and physiology, If i would make any friends. Now I'm in my final year and I really don't care about the pens and I did pretty well in my Anatomy and Physiology exam, and I have met some amazing people.

I can't believe how much I have achieved in the last 2 years. There's a lot of pressure this year and a lot for me to worry about but with the amazing support. I definitely won't give up with the end so close. I will be keeping you guys updated about my journey to becoming a nurse

Nak'd Prize!!

So I got this amazing prize from Nak'd from a competition I entered a few weeks ago. I've been so busy with university and work that I had totally forgotten that I had applied so you can imagine my suprise when I heard a knock on the door and someone telling me they have a package for me. Review: Mangajo Green Tea Drinks

Green tea is an amazing super food, perhaps one of mother nature’s finest inventions. The benefits of green tea include high levels of antioxidants, metabolic and fat-burning properties, anti-inflammatory and anti bacterial properties and too many other benefits to list, so you can imagine how happy I was when the lovely people from Mangajo sent me this lovely green tea hamper. I wasted no time opening them and trying them out.



My favorite had to be the pomegranate and green tea. I love how vibrant and bright the fruit drinks are. The drink is lovely deep pinkish red color, very similar to cranberry juice. The aroma was deliciously sweet and as expected, very fruity. This drink is really mellow, the green tea isn't overpowering, the flavors blends really well. The pomegranate flavor takes the initial hit, and the green kicks in at the end of each sip with giving it a nice refreshing sharp edge to finish. It’s a super refreshing drink, and is perfect on a warm day.




It’s not a bad idea to stock the fridge with several bottles for whenever you might need a quick, yummy pick-me-up. This tea would be great for anyone.

The McCain Ready Baked Jackets are really very nice when done in the microwave for just 5 mins. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice they actually are and do prefer them to just an ordinary potato done in the microwave! They still however do not match up to a real oven cooked potato with lovely crisp skins!


Well at £1.29 for 2 potatoes I find them rather expensive and they certainly won’t be on my weekly shopping list but to have a pack in the freezer would be very handy for a very quick meal when needed.

Review: Ocean Spray Cranberry and Raspberry Juice & Craisins

Hello readers! The amazing people from Ocean Spray chose me as a winner to their Red cool bag competition.

I won this really cute stylish red patent cooler bag. The bag came flat and went straight into my freezer and within a few hours they were ready to go. The mini cooler actually isn't very mini in my opinion. I can easily fit a sandwich box, a bottle of water and a snack inside with it easily shutting and staying shut. The bag has two metallic closures as well as a handle which makes it easy to carry.  I am not a great lover of cranberries but when Ocean Spray sent me this cran-Raspberry, I thought I'd give it a try as I love raspberries. Don't be fooled by these small boxes as they are packed with flavor The cranberry has a really tart taste however the sweetness of the raspberries kicked in after. The combination is very light and subtle. I absolutely love the combination. The drink is a lovely deep red color and is incredibly smooth. You do notice a smell to the drink straight away; the berry flavors will instantly hit you.

The two fruits have such a crisp, clean taste when paired together. These drinks are great for a pick-me-up during the day or when you want something healthy to drink besides water. They leave you craving their cran-raspberry goodness long after the drink is gone.


I also got a packet of Craisins. Whenever I think of cranberries, I immediately think of tart or sour however this product isn't like that at all! They taste nothing like you would imagine a cranberry to taste. They are very sweet with a slightly tangy finish. You will be pleasantly surprised when you try them because I know I was. I now use craisins anywhere I would use raisins, including mixing them in my cereal and adding them to my muffins. The taste is a perfect balance of sweet-tartness and the texture resembles the wrinkled softness of a raisin. As I anticipated, they are a yummy addition to a handful of mixed nuts or cashews. I think I am a newly converted cranberry lover. So if you guys have tried any of these products, let me know what you thought below.

Review: Barry M Eyeliner

Hello readers! I apologize for not writing for so long. I have been so swamped with exams and studies, but I am here today with a new product for you guys!

Barry M kohl pencil eyeliner.I find my eyes my best feature so I'm always looking for ways to make them pop. I have bad luck when it comes to finding an eyeliner that doesn't smudge or fade however this kohl pencil is perfect. Until now I was using Bourjois eyeliner however I was reapplying every half an hour. With Barry M, the staying power is incredible. The color lasts for about 4/5 hours before I need to reapply it which is a nice change from getting my eye liner our every 30 minutes. I brought the black kohl pencil and it is the the darkest kohl I have ever used.
I have been using this every single day since I brought it hence why the pencil looks so small. Ontop of the amazing color and the incredible staying power, this pencil only costs £2.99 so it's a beauty bargin.

if you are looking for an amazing eyeliner, I would definately reccomend you use this as you will not be disappointed. I will be repurchasing. What's your favorite pencil eyeliner? Have you tried this? How did it work on you?
